The National Association of University Students (NAUS) today honoured the Comptroller of Immigration Service Katsina State Command Mr. Adamu Muhammad psc with the Association Hall of Fame medal award

The National Association of University Students (NAUS) today honoured the Comptroller of Immigration Service Katsina State Command Mr. Adamu Muhammad psc with the Association Hall of Fame medal award. 

The National Director Gender and Students empowerment Salamatu Sulaiman who presented the the award, describe it as necessary considering the giant contribution the Comptroller is rendering to the communities at all levels with core interest of protecting the dignity and integrity of the Students and his readiness in tackling the security challenges bedeviling the State.

During her speech Salamatu also unveiled plans and strategies on how the association would contribute their quarters towards tackling insecurity. They intend of having a standard based security system (SBS) across the State like they do have in the other States in the Federation with the purpose of improving the security situation.

In his response the Computer of Immigration Service warmly welcomed the Members of the association, shows his appreciation for the visit and express his happiness for finding him worthy for the award and promised to reciprocate the gesture.

He also advised them to be more security conscious with both their physical environment and socially wise. He also enjoined them to liaise with the National Assembly and other security agencies for more support and assistant on how to carry out their plan. He lastly charged them to take their studies as number one priority in their lives.
