Democracy Day in Nigeria is observed on June 12 every year — but this wasn’t always the case. Until 2018, the country celebrated its journey to re-democratization on May 29
June (May) 29 is such an important day in the lives of Nigerians. It is the day we regain and reclaim all our civil liberties. Regardless of the present situation of the economy, we should be thankful for the freedom we’ve got.
This was contained in the message signed in the early hours of Monday June 12, 2023 in Abuja by the Director General Coalition of Nigeria Youth on Security and Safety Affairs CONYSSA, Amb. Ade Mario Emmanuel.
“We are proud of our country. We are proud because we know that we will soon be led to the light, and we are sure we will soon get there. We are confident that with this present administration. Things will turn out for the better.
Be kind, be patient, and do not be weak or weary. For we will soon get to the promised land, he urged Nigerians
We all want a better nation, only a few people know that this is a task for us all and not just one person. We should pull our resources together to have a nation that we all dream of.

The DG urged all security agencies and the intelligence community, to closely monitor the activities of the country’s enemy and ensure safety and violence free environment for Nigeria citizens.
